Welcome to the wonderful world of Hooky, a deduction game where you play as a homeroom teacher trying to figure out which kids are playing hooky. In this game, of the 26 children in classes today, 3 are off playing hooky. Your job as a homeroom teacher is to identify these 3 missing students before the school day begins.

The game is set in the chaos of the morning before school starts. There are some children off in the Playground who are late getting to their homerooms, and you will learn their identities as they straggle in. Each student has a name starting with 1 unique letter of the alphabet (like "J" for James), and each homeroom teacher knows the identity of some of the students in school, represented by cards in their hands. However, the teachers are competing to impress the principal and are not so eager to share what they know.

You earn points by correctly deducing which students are where and which have been off playing hooky. To do this, you will have to use deduction and elimination, as time is short. Each round, players ask others for clues by choosing a player and giving them a 5-letter word. That player must answer how many of the letters (students) they have from that word in hand. You can push your luck to try to pick up some extra information, but you could also come up empty-handed.

The 3 missing students are represented by 3 Hooky cards, and your goal is to correctly deduce the identity of these 3 cards, thereby finding the 3 missing students. Let the search begin!
